FROM VALLEY HIGH
TO THE FOUNDATION.
The Roots
It started at Valley High.
Before the careers and the families, Jamal Rowe and Jerry DeLoach were just two teammates growing up in the same soil in Sacramento. They learned early that talent gets you noticed, but consistency keeps you there.
The Grind
Their paths diverged, but the discipline remained the same. Jerry spent years in the trenches of the NFL, battling on the defensive line where every inch is earned. Jamal dedicated himself to law enforcement, serving on the front lines where character and steadiness are non-negotiable.
The New Roster
Today, the uniforms have changed. They are no longer just athletes or officers. They are Girl Dads.
Jamal is the veteran on this new squad. He has watched two daughters complete their high school athletic careers and move on to college, while his youngest is just starting her own journey as a freshman. He knows the reality of the journey. He knows the travel schedules, the emotional wins, and the quiet car rides home after a loss.
Jerry is the visionary. With a one-year-old daughter, he is at the starting line. He is filled with the dreams and visions of her future greatness, already preparing to build the environment she needs to thrive.
The Mission
Girl Dad Athletics (GDA) was born from these two distinct perspectives: the wisdom of the veteran and the ambition of the new father.
We are the foundation. This is the uniform.
